On September 10, 2026 at the University of Oregon Law School, the Oregon Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) is proud to present its 2026 Eugene Fall Event. The ABOTA 2026 Eugene Fall Event is open to law students, attorneys, and judges.    

The program will include a presentation by distinguished trial attorneys and ABOTA members Tom D’Amore of the D’Amore Law Group and Brian Williams of Hitt, Hiller, Monfils, Williams LLP.   Brian and Tom’s presentation is “Road Rage!  Professional commercial truck drivers cause catastrophic crash resulting in the death of a young woman and serious injury to her husband.”  Tom and Brian will discuss the underlying issues and the case which ultimately proceeded to trial.  

Founded in 1958, ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. ABOTA and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA membership is by invitation and consists of more than 7,300 lawyers—equally balanced between plaintiff and defense—and judges spread among 94 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. 

The ABOTA 2026 Eugene Fall Event is from 4 pm to 5 pm on September 10, 2026, at the University of Oregon Law School. Food and beverages will be provided and attendance is complimentary.  There will be an opportunity to connect and network after the presentation.
